Special Rides
In addition to our weekly regular rides, members organize special theme rides and rides that will take us out of the regular riding area, city or state. It can be a multiple days event. It is always fun and memorable.

These rides are designed for all levels (classification) of riders and a ride leader will be available for each level of when possible.
Chili Wiener Ride Saturday, March 6 Oberlin Depot 10 a.m.
Oberlin’s Big Parade Saturday, May 8 Tappan Square T.B.A.
Rowe’s Breakfast Ride Sunday, July 4 Revco’s, Oberlin T.B.A.
Etzler Picnic Ride Saturday September 11 at 9:00 AM
Halloween Ride Saturday, Oct. 30 Oberlin Depot 2 p.m.
Chili Wiener Ride Saturday, Nov. 27 Oberlin Depot 10 a.m.
Invitational Rides
Once a year, Silver Wheels will have its invitational ride, Dog Days Wine Tour. Each year, the event is attracting more and more riders, in 2008, we had over 350 riders. In 2010, the date of the ride is on Saturday, Aug 14. There will be three routes, 35, 65 and 100 miles. The routes will take you through the beautiful, quiet country roads and up to four wineries. Ride Mileage
For every ride, the ride leader submit the mileage afterward. The member can review his or her miles of riding through out the year. At the end of the year, the riders will be recognized for their achievement in our annual holiday banquet.
